I will now happily follow you here! I've continued to read your blog from the beginning. As a fellow running mom (two boys, 4 yrs and 2.5 yrs old!) I've related to so much. Thanks for taking us all along on your journey.

Greetings from Slovakia. Although I am not a mom yet and not planning to become one soon, I have been reading your blog (as a preparation for a future...) and because I love your writting style. I am definitely going to follow here!
ReplyDeleteDarrell and I are glad you are continuing with your blog! We will love to continue hearing about your adventures in active parenthood as we follow you about a year behind!
ReplyDeleteI just found you today on Runner's World and look forward to reading about more of your and Sam's adventures over here.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is about the same age as your son and I've been back running consistently since her first birthday. It still feels so amazing to be back that I've been heading out no matter how frigid the temps, too.
Happy New Year!
Your blog is my guilty pleasure. I keep telling my wife to read it. She was a runner in HS and College. shortly after college we got married and now have two wonderful boys a 16 month old and a 3 month old. She is slowly getting back into running and I think she will find your blog quite inspirational... I do and I'm not even a mommy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping up your blog! I really enjoyed reading your posts during my daily check of RunnersWorld. I can totally commiserate with your SI-joint issues, as mine is/has been out of whack. Have you tried rowing (on a machine)? I find it super helpful in both mobilizing and also stabilizing/strengthening my lower back. I often row after a run and find it very helpful. Love your sense of adventure and wise words! Keep it up!
